Our client, a prestigious estate based in Durham, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the smooth running of its financial operations primarily and contribute to the successful management of the Estate being a pivotal part of dedicated team supporting the stunning heritage surroundings.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified AAT or part or qualified ACA/ACCA professional with experience in bookkeeping and financial administration.
The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and have their own transport due to the rural location.
Weekly and monthly bookkeeping, ensuring accurate financial records.
Regular reconciliation of bank and inter-entity balances.
Supporting the preparation of year-end accounts and management accounts.
Assisting with credit control, including debtor and creditor reviews.
Providing general assistance to the Financial Controller as required.
Qualified AAT or part-qualified ACA/ACCA with relevant experience.
Strong accounts preparation and reconciliation skills.
Experience with AutoEntry, Xero, and MS Excel (preferred).
Study support may be available depending on experience.
