Role summary:
The Service Field Manager is responsible for leading and developing a team of Service Engineers and a Service Coordinator to deliver exceptional service operations within their designated area. The role ensures profitable contract delivery, optimised field performance, and outstanding customer satisfaction. This position will oversee planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and health & safety compliance while continuously driving improvements in team performance, operational efficiency, and customer relationships.
Experience Required:
* NVQ in Lift Maintenance/Technical preferred (Level 3 or 4)
* Extensive understanding of all aspects of the maintenance business
* Proven leadership and decision-making capabilities
Skills/Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all field service activities within the designated region, ensuring timely and quality delivery of PPM, call-outs, and repairs.
* Act as the primary operational contact for service clients, ensuring professional handling of requests and proactive communication of job status.
* Continuously assess and improve service delivery processes, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and customer satisfaction.
* Manage team performance, including training, appraisals, and development planning, to ensure capability and motivation align with business goals.
