About the role We’re looking for a Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team on a permanent basis. This hybrid role requires you to be in the office twice a week at Hatfield, supporting both Ocado and Morrisons channels. As a Demand Planner, you’ll ensure the success of your product range, managing forecasts, supplier performance, and key KPIs for availability, waste, and fulfilment. You’ll work closely with trading teams, suppliers, and operational teams to keep the supply chain running efficiently while supporting new initiatives like promotions, seasonal planning, and new CFC openings. You will be Managing demand and forecast planning across ~2,500 products to achieve KPIs. Building strong supplier relationships and managing supplier performance. Optimising delivery schedules, buying processes, and inbound efficiency. Analysing trends, supporting promotions, and recommending process improvements. Collaborating across Supply Chain, trading, operations, and project teams. About you Skilled in demand forecasting, data analysis, and supply chain planning. Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills. Proactive, adaptable, and able to make decisions independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong Excel and IT skills, with confidence interpreting numerical data. Comfortable working occasional weekends on a rota. Preferred : commercial acumen, supplier management experience, and e-commerce/large-scale retail supply chain exposure.
