About the role:
Axiom is hiring for a highly motivated, thoughtful Recruitment Manager to support in the hiring of our ever-growing population of legal talent. A critical member of our wider Talent Acquisition team, the Recruitment manager will develop and implement creative strategies to deliver against our hiring needs, making a direct impact on the growth trajectory of our global company.
Responsibilities include :
1. End-to-end recruitment of our lawyer bench, including screening applicants, interviewing, conducting diligence, and organising candidate evaluations and hiring decisions.
2. Build and maintain a network of potential candidates by direct sourcing, proactive market research, and ongoing relationship management.
3. Conducting offer negotiations with senior lawyers and General Counsel level candidates.
4. Help define and drive strategic sourcing strategies to attract the best legal talent to Axiom.
5. Serving as the main point of contact, ensuring all candidate correspondence is completed in a timely manner.
6. Maintaining candidate profiles and status of recruitment activity and report activity levels regularly to local and global leadership.
7. Evaluating client demand in partnership with commercial team and assist in managing our lawyer hiring strategy to ensure a consistent, relevant pipeline of candidates.
8. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of recruiting issues and trends in the legal industry that have short and long-term implications on the business.
9. Collaborating with other Axiom offices and departments, including Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Information Technology to ensure seamless coordination within the Axiom Headquarters team.
Experience & Qualifications:
10. 4+ years full cycle recruiting experience within a recruiting agency/staffing firm or in-house for a company.
11. Strong interviewing capabilities: able to assess candidate suitability efficiently and quickly, particularly where relates to the legal profession.
12. Ability to develop remote relationships with candidates.
13. Strong, persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
14. Poise, confidence, and gravitas to interact with highly experienced legal professionals.
15. Ability to work in a team environment, organise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt quickly to changes and creatively problem solve.
16. Excellent systems skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
17. Legal experience is helpful, though not required.
18. Legally able to work in the United Kingdom.
19. Able to commit to a hybrid working pattern in London.
