Social Worker – Family Safeguarding Team

Up to £38 per hour
This role focuses on providing comprehensive casework to children and young people. You will investigate and analyze information to create realistic action plans that ensure the highest professional standards.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide effective services to children and families, ensuring needs are professionally assessed.
* Prepare written reports and care plans for proceedings in Family and County Courts.
* Maintain accurate case records using ICT and performance management data.
* Work in partnership with other agencies, parents, and carers.
* Participate in conferences and reviews with professionalism and integrity.
Requirements
* Qualifications: Recognized social work qualification and evidence of CPD.
* Experience: Practical experience applying assessment skills in statutory settings.
* Knowledge: Deep understanding of child protection, legislation, and attachment theory.
* Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt and cope under pressure.
* Mobility: Must hold a current driving license for local travel and occasional long journeys to visit children in placements.
Working Pattern
We utilize hybrid working, requiring at least 2 days a week in the office. You must remain available for site visits and to respond to emergencies on your caseload throughout the week
