Designers at Made Tech are experienced practitioners who collaborate within teams to address societal challenges by designing and delivering public services. They influence project direction, ensure design quality, and lead end-to-end service design, actively participating in a user-centered design community.
Key Responsibilities
* Hands-on design work for assigned products or teams
* Serve as the design expert within a product team, facilitating processes and communicating decisions
* Identify potential issues, shape solutions, and conduct problem-solving activities
* Seek guidance when necessary and adapt based on feedback
* Contribute to communities of practice by sharing ideas and seeking feedback
Practice
* Develop innovative approaches to complex design challenges based on core principles
* Expertise in design tools such as Figma, GOV.UK prototyping kit, and Adobe InDesign
* Advocate for interaction and service design practices internally and externally
* Mentor others and establish design standards
* Influence stakeholders on the value of design
* Broaden industry and business knowledge
