JOB TITLE: Healthcare Sales Account Manager
LOCATION: Office based – Johnston, Pembrokeshire
SALARY: Basic salary is £26,000 per annum, but with uncapped commission on sales
ABOUT US: Celtic SMR is a rapidly growing business selling therapeutic and diagnostic equipment to healthcare and veterinary clinics across the UK and Ireland. We pride ourselves on our honest approach to sales and on building lasting, supportive relationships with our customers. Our close-knit team work together to make sure each member is confident and equipped with all the information they need to successfully build their client base, without the need for micro-management.
WHY ARE WE HIRING? This role replaces an existing team member who has moved across to our veterinary department. You will be joining our healthcare team – supported by a dedicated full-time equipment demonstrator – as well as working alongside a very established account management team meaning there is a lot of support and some quick results waiting for the right candidate.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for someone who can work well as part of a team but with a propensity for autonomy too, ideally with a proven background in sales. Enthusiasm and fitting into the team are equally as important as previous sales experience. You will be keen to drive to growth in your sector, and you will be a strong communicator who can speak to customers clearly, respectfully and without being too pushy.
You will also be able to demonstrate a drive to seek-out new business and a proven ability to identify and close sales opportunities. The successful candidate will have a drive for customer service and sales.
You will have good organisational skills and be able to maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and account updates using CRM software.
WHAT DOES THE POSITION ENTAIL?
This is a consultative sales role and involves seeking out potential new customers, establishing and maintaining long term relationships, building the company’s presence in the market and bringing sales opportunities through to completion working alongside our technical team.
The primary method of customer communication will be phone, email and social media based, utilising our network of equipment demonstrators to support clients where required.
Account Managers generate regular reports and updates for management to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
Occasional travel will be needed to attend trade shows, training events etc. Normally these trips cover 2-3 days at most.
