Role and Responsibilities
1. Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality lessons using a variety of approaches to continually enhance teaching and learning.
2. Monitor student progress, keep records including assessment outcomes and targets, in line with academy policy, to enable students to achieve their full potential.
3. Contribute to safeguarding and promote the welfare and personal care of children and young people, following the Every Child Matters agenda and Area Child Protection Procedures.
4. Ensure continuity, progression, and cohesiveness in all teaching activities.
5. Set homework regularly (according to the academy homework policy) to consolidate and extend learning, encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning.
6. Track student achievement against targets and take appropriate actions.
7. Be a role model through professional conduct and personal presentation.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in French, Spanish, or related MFL field.
* Teaching certification or relevant qualifications.
* Proven experience teaching MFL at secondary or higher education level.
* Strong knowledge of geographical theories, tools, and technologies (if applicable).
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
