Job Title: Mobile Plant Operator (Temp to Perm)

Pay Rate: £16.90 per hour (paid weekly, every Friday)
Job Type: Full-time | Temp to Perm
Shift Pattern
* 4 days on (06:00 – 18:00)
* 2 days off
* 4 nights on (18:00 – 06:00)
* 6 days off
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Plant Operator to join a leading waste management company based in Rugby. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established operation where your skills will contribute to efficient site performance and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate mobile plant machinery during daily operations
* Monitor machinery to ensure optimum performance and efficiency
* Load, unload, and sort waste materials, including skips and conveyor systems
* Work alongside delivery vehicles to manage incoming and outgoing waste
* Collect and move waste materials across site
* Take material samples when required
* Ensure materials are stored safely and correctly
* Maintain a clean and organised yard environment
Requirements
* Valid licence for Loading Shovel, Telehandler, or 360 Grab Material Handler (essential)
* Previous experience in waste, recycling, or industrial environments (preferred)
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
