Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages. You will foster critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and a love for learning in every pupil.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Support and challenge pupils of all abilities to reach their potential.
* Assess and track student progress, providing effective feedback.
* Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement.
* Participate in departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.
Requirements for Maths Teacher:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is desirable.
* Have experience teaching Mathematics in secondary schools is desirable.
* Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
* A commitment to inclusive education and continuous improvement.
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
