About Your Role
* Provide macro-economic forecasts and insights into key economic and policy indicators for the Eurozone and its countries/sub-regions, including analysis of government policies and data releases, with a focus on the ECB.
* Evaluate macroeconomic investment opportunities within the Eurozone and relative to G4, contributing ideas to the asset management team.
* Produce thematic research pieces.
* Create and maintain proprietary macroeconomic indicators for various economies.
* Contribute to global publications and Capital Market Assumptions as a key member of the Macro & SAA team.
* Participate in global asset management forums and engage with internal clients, mainly PMs, providing macro insights.
* Support marketing and asset growth initiatives through white papers and thought leadership content.
About You
* Strong academic background in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related fields, with experience in macro-focused roles on sell or buy side.
* Relevant experience covering G4 macroeconomics with a focus on the Eurozone.
* Proficiency in at least one European language (written and spoken) alongside English preferred.
* Proven record of insightful economic analysis with investment implications, demonstrating original thinking and a broad perspective.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Willingness to travel internationally.
* Strong teamwork skills for effective collaboration across the firm.
* Advanced quantitative skills (Eviews, Matlab, Python) and experience with statistical tools and empirical work.
* Ability to communicate effectively with media and deliver presentations to diverse clients.

The role complies with FCA and PRA conduct rules, including integrity, diligence, transparency, and customer focus. It involves regulated activities, with background vetting including a DBS check.
