Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Café Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant café environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the café.
* Complete food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met.
* Manage inventory levels, and ensure proper storage of ingredients in accordance with food safety regulations.
* Implement and monitor health and safety procedures across all areas of the café.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer enquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and customer areas in compliance with hygiene standards.
* Ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in restaurant or café management, with strong supervisory skills.
* Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
* Familiarity with food production processes, kitchen operations, and service standards.
* Previous experience working in hotel or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
* Barista experience is essential.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
