Position description / Job description
* Develop and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs using the P Scales curriculum.
* Implement effective teaching strategies catering to diverse learning styles.
* Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to create comprehensive student support plans.
* Create a positive classroom environment through proactive behaviour management.
* Provide personal care and support to students as needed.
* Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
* Participate in school events and meetings.
Requirements
Were looking for you, if:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven UK experience teaching students with SEN (minimum 1 year)
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Strong understanding of the P Scales curriculum
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team
* Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children with diverse learning needs
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Legal right to work in the UK
