Job Description
Your Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical team, including planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns and new installations.
Direct supervision of the day work, shift technicians and contractors.
Reviewing work order progress according to time and required standards.
Contributing to electrical design planning & updates of site electrical drawings.
Providing progress reports to the work order planning and scheduling team.
Coordination with production and other departments.
Supporting and overseeing the sites electrical & instrumentation compliance.
Coaching of Electrical Apprentices.
Identifying and ensuring the site has adequate spares for electrical infrastructure.
Deputising for the Electrical and Instrumentation Superintendent, specifically relating to;
HV operation/isolation
Permit writing
Work order scheduling and management
Your Profile
City & Guilds/NC/HNC in Electrical Engineering.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with maintenance management software and a good understanding of MS office packages.
Certified for HV operation and isolation.
Good experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
The role involves working at heights, confined space entry, and manual handling requirements.
