The role
Lawyer needed in Gloucester, £43.12ph PAYE - Reference: 5298859 30hours per week Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Law and Education Law Have the day-to-day conduct of caseload and legal work appropriate to experience at this level and to manage the same in accordance with good legal practice, client requirements and practice management standards. Undertake advocacy and represent the Council in the Court arena To support the Principal Lawyers and Legal Services Business Partners and Senior Lawyers in developing and maintaining close working relationships with members, officers and with external organisations. To represent Legal Services, the Council and external clients in meetings, including committee and member meetings, inquiries and working groups and in discussions with other legal practitioners at an appropriate level as and when required. To have a collaborative solution-based approach to advising in meeting the needs of the County Council. Carry a caseload of cases as directed by the Senior Lawyer – Team Lead. Ensure high level of client satisfaction, communication and feedback This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
