Overview
We are looking to recruit a Collections Assistant to join our Amgueddfa Ceredigion Museum team. This is a fixed-term contract ending 30/04/2026.
Responsibilities
The post holder will support the Assistant Curator in all aspects of collection management and make the collections accessible during the capital project to conserve the Coliseum, home to Ceredigion Museum. They will liaise with creative practitioners to support community engagement activities.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have experience of museum collections care and management, for example experience of handling artefacts, using a collections database and research. We are looking for someone who works well in a team and can work independently. Due to the requirements of the role the successful candidate must have a level of Welsh fluency on appointment.
