Pay rate:£12.60Various Shifts (to be discussed at interview)Job Overview:Mitie is looking for a Relief Logistics security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe environment, free from the fear of crime for visitors and colleagues.It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates (but in some circumstances training for a licence can be provided)VettingIt is vital that you have a full 5-year checkable employment/education history, failure to do so could mean your offer will be withdrawn or your employment stopped.Main duties:
* To deliver industry leading customer service
* To conduct patrols of the depot
* To provide a visible security contact for colleagues, contractors, and visitors
* Utilising CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
* Liaise with the depot management teams
* To deter theft, whether internal and/or external and other poor working practices
* To conduct Searches (to be discussed at interview)
* To respond to any on site incident or request for assistance and assume control until arrival of the Client, Emergency Services or Depot Duty Manager
* To highlight all breaches of security procedures including internal and external crime
* Support with access and egress to and from the site as is required by the systems installed
* Gatehouse duties which will include booking in vehicles and supporting the transport operation (to be discussed at interview)
* Must have reasonable level of PC skills
