Children's Mental Health Support Worker

Randstad seeks a compassionate Mental Health Support Worker for children in Cumbria. Deliver tailored care plans, ensuring well-being and collaborating with families and professionals. Make a profound impact! Access to a car is essential for travel within Carlisle and the West Cumbria region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day support for children with mental health conditions.
* Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals.
* Implement individualized care plans and monitor progress.
* Offer emotional support, guidance, and practical assistance.
* Maintain a safe environment, adhering to protocols and policies.
* Maintain accurate care records.
Requirements:
* 6+ months' experience in children's mental health.
* PEG feeding experience or willing to attend the training
* Long Day Shifts availability (minimum 48hrs/week).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent written and verbal English.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Previous experience is essential.
* Access to a car and willingness to travel within Carlisle and Cumbria.**
