18 Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our clients dynamic team delivering high-quality social housing maintenance and refurbishment projects across Leeds and the wider West Yorkshire region. This is a pivotal role within the commercial team, responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual performance of multiple planned and reactive maintenance contracts. Key Responsibilities * Lead the commercial management of planned maintenance, void refurbishments, and compliance upgrade projects. * Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans. * Take ownership of CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations), valuations, and final accounts. * Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and performance. * Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance to senior management. * Oversee change control, risk management, and value engineering processes. * Liaise with operational teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure commercial objectives are met. * Chair commercial meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making. Requirements * Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within social housing or public sector frameworks. * Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 and JCT contracts. * Proficiency in Schedule of Rates (SoR) and NHF frameworks. ...
