Job Title: Senior Climate Change Officer (Electrical)

Job Type: Temporary- 6 months initially
Hours: 35 hours per week
Main Responsibilities:
1. Plan and coordinate delivery of statutory inspection, capital, and electrical/climate-related programmes to ensure compliance and best value.
2. Act as Contract Administrator/Principal Designer, managing projects from procurement through to completion, including documentation and stakeholder liaison.
3. Deliver high-quality electrical and energy-related services, ensuring safety, efficiency, and fit-for-purpose public buildings.
4. Manage and monitor project progress, including site inspections, surveys, reporting, and coordination with internal/external stakeholders.
5. Lead electrical design and technical delivery, including specifications, drawings, compliance with standards, and certification processes.
6. Ensure statutory and legislative compliance, maintaining up-to-date asset data, maintenance programmes, and health & safety standards.
7. Support energy and carbon management initiatives, including use of systems, renewable technologies, and identifying funding opportunities.
