Salary: £26,000 - 32,500 per year Requirements: Knowledge of Windows 10 and/or Windows 11 Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, OneDrive) Knowledge of Apple devices (MacBooks, iPads, MacOS) Familiarity with hardware (Desktops, Laptops, Printers) Desirable: Knowledge of ServiceNow Management tools, Mobility Solutions, Microsoft Power Platform, and previous experience in PC Hardware/Software support Desirable: Understanding of Active Directory and basic networking principles Desirable: MCSE Certification Responsibilities: Provide technical support to our customers and projects regarding APS Services. Assist in fault identification and resolution of incidents/requests within contracted SLA targets. Support mobile solutions (mobile phones and laptops) and handle software and hardware installations. Configure PCs and build laptops & MacBooks. Assist with store tasks when required and create/maintain support documentation. Once trained, support users on the Tech Table or Virtual Tech Table with technical issues. Travel to other sites to assist with support activities as needed, with expenses provided. Technologies: Active Directory Hardware Support macOS Microsoft Power Platform Mobile MS Teams ServiceNow Windows Office 365 Cisco VPN More: We are looking for a Desktop Engineer for a hybrid role (remote/Telford) on a 6-month assignment, offering a rate of £120 per day via PAYE through Umbrella only. In this role, you will develop your technical skills while working as part of a team located in Telford, helping to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues faced by end users. Our operation supports Windows 10, Windows 11, MacOS, and O365, and we encourage continuous learning to provide support for non-standard applications.
