Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Resource Administrator to support one of the UK’s largest and most high-profile civil engineering schemes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced project environment working alongside senior operational and commercial teams on a multi-billion pound infrastructure programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and filtering high volumes of job applications and CVs for site-based and office-based roles
- Supporting recruitment coordination across multiple project teams and subcontractors
- Screening candidate suitability against project requirements and escalating shortlisted applicants
- Maintaining accurate personnel and recruitment records
- Assisting with onboarding administration and compliance documentation
- Coordinating interviews, inductions, and workforce mobilisation
- Providing general administrative support to project management and resourcing teams
- Updating spreadsheets, trackers, databases, and internal systems
- Handling correspondence, filing, document control, and meeting coordination
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a recruitment administration, resource administration, or project administration role
- Experience working within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, or large-scale projects preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Confident using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel and Outlook
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
