Overview
Join as a Senior HR Advisor at Ryvita, located in Poole, working full‑time 37.5 hours Monday to Friday with flexibility for a 24‑hour manufacturing site and one day per week from home. You will be the go‑to person in the People & Performance team, providing expert advice to managers and employees, managing employee relations cases, ensuring legal compliance and supporting people strategies and organisational change.
Key Accountabilities
* Provide expert advice and lead on all disciplinary, grievance, performance and sickness/capability cases, ensuring consistency and fairness in handling employee relation cases with our manufacturing operations.
* Proactively support managers in the effective application of our People policies and procedures, acting as a trusted advisor.
* Manage recruitment campaigns and support managers through the process, providing expert advice on best methods for recruitment and selection.
* Support workforce planning and ensure optimum skills coverage across our factories.
* Identify, develop and deliver training to employees and managers to raise awareness of people management issues and internal policies and procedures.

Skills and Experiences
* Broad experience in an HR generalist role.
* In‑depth knowledge of employee relations, performance management, recruitment and employment law, with experience managing complex employee relation cases independently.
* Ability to coach and influence managers to adopt best practices in people management.
* A self‑starter who can operate with pragmatism and at pace.
* Experience working in an FMCG business would be desirable but not essential.
