Overview
Job Title: Team Manager – Children Team. Location: North East Lincolnshire (Cleethorpes). Rate: £45 per hour.
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting experienced Team Managers for the Children team in North East Lincolnshire. To work in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience. The role is within a Child Assess and Safeguarding Service based in the seaside town of Cleethorpes.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the realization of the Council Plan and delivery of services for vulnerable children, young people, and families through effective leadership, planning, management, and professional supervision of a team engaged in the delivery of a defined range of social care
* Support the delivery of North East Lincolnshire Council’s statutory responsibilities to safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable children and young people in North East Lincolnshire
* Lead a team (or teams) of social workers, other practitioners, and professionals delivering professional services that meet established legislative requirements and adhere to Social Work England Code of Practice
What we are looking for
* Hold a fully accredited DipSW/Social Work degree (equivalent to Level 6 NQF), be registered with Social Work England, and have a management qualification or equivalent experience
* Have a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in Children’s Social Care
* Experience of working with all service user groups and with service users from minority ethnic groups
* Experience of interpreting and applying the law relating to children and/or adult services
* Experience of child protection and childcare work and issues arising
