Join Our Team as a Reception Badging Officer
We're looking for a professional, customer-focused Front of House Security Officer to join our onsite team at Visa in Basingstoke. This is more than a traditional security role — you'll be the first point of contact for visitors, delivering a seamless, welcoming experience while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.
About the Role
* Deliver a professional front-of-house service, welcoming visitors and managing enquiries
* Oversee access control, visitor management, and badging processes
* Monitor security systems and respond promptly to alarms and incidents
* Conduct patrols and support investigations, ensuring accurate reporting
* Maintain detailed records, audit trails, and compliance documentation
* Support emergency response procedures in line with site protocols
* Provide administrative support, ensuring all security data and logs are up to date
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment
You will be responsible for
* Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere
* Conducting regular patrols and monitoring premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism.
* Monitoring access points, CCTV, and handling security procedures
* Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.
* Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.
* Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required.
* Adapting to different client sites – no two days are the same
* Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns
* Working as part of a diverse, supportive team

What we are looking for
Essential Requirements
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
* First Aid at Work certification
* Experience with access control systems
* Ability to stand for extended periods
Desirable
* 5+ years' experience in corporate security with a customer-facing focus
