Your Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of a major infrastructure scheme, ensuring robust governance, financial control and contractual compliance across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring site teams adhere to group commercial procedures and governance standards
* Leading internal commercial reporting and contributing to project performance reviews
* Preparing and managing valuations/applications for payment with full supporting documentation in line with contract requirements
* Overseeing cost reporting to the client with contractually compliant detail
* Managing subcontract and material procurement schedules
* Administering subcontractor and supplier accounts from requisition through to final account agreement
* Undertaking contract administration duties, including change management and maintaining associated commercial registers
* Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities, including value engineering initiatives
* Ensuring accurate cost allocation and coding aligned to internal and external requirements
* Measurement of quantities in accordance with standard methods of measurement
About You
* HND or Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, or an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to step up
* Strong working knowledge of NEC forms of contract
* Experience within civil engineering, utilities, or major infrastructure projects
* RICS / ICES registered or actively working towards chartership
* Commercially astute with strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
