Overview
Higher Level Teaching Assistant. Location: West Bromwich, B70 Birmingham. Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only). Start Date: 03/11/2025. Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm.
The school is looking for a confident HLTA with a Level 4 qualification to provide PPA cover, lead intervention sessions, and support learning across EYFS to KS2. This full-time, long-term role starts immediately and offers the opportunity to work across different year groups while making a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
* Deliver planned lessons during teacher PPA time across the primary age range.
* Lead small group intervention sessions focused on raising attainment.
* Work closely with teaching staff to support learning outcomes.
* Support classroom routines and contribute to behaviour management.
* Provide high-quality feedback on pupil progress.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
* A Level 4 HLTA qualification or QTS.
* Experience leading whole-class teaching in a primary setting.
* Confidence managing a classroom and adapting to different year groups.
* Flexible, strong organisation skills and commitment to pupil development.
