Work Experience - July 2026 Join Spirax Group for your Work Experience week! Are you eager to explore the world of work and gain a hands-on experience of what it might be like to work within your chosen field? Our Work Experience programme is now open for applications to join us for 1-week in early July. Simply complete our online application and provide as much information as you can. We aim to support as many Work Experience placements as possible, and the process for this will be to match you as closely as possible to our available placements. If you are successful in gaining a placement, it will be based at one of our two sites within Cheltenham, Gloucestershire: • Spirax Group HQ, Charlton House, Cirencester Road, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham, GL53 8ER • Spirax Sarco, Runnings Road, Cheltenham, GL51 9NQ What will the Placement consist of? At the start of the week (Monday morning), you will receive a Health & Safety induction and tour of our manufacturing and technology site at Runnings Road. Following your induction, depending on your chosen career path, you will be placed with a Spirax colleague or team who will support you and work with you closely for the first four days of your placement. On the final day (Friday) you will come together with your Work Experience peers for some group activities at our Runnings Road site. This will be a half day so you will be ready to return home at midday after an enjoyable week with us! When will I know if I’ve been successful? The application process will close on Friday 6th March. We aim to confirm with successful applicants as soon as possible before the end of March 2025. We will also let you know if you have not been successful, and this will only be if we do not have any available placements which align with your goals and interests. If you are successful, please share with us any requirements from your School, College or Sixth Form so we can make sure any formalities and forms are completed in advance of you joining us in July.
