Role Description
We are seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team at our Simonstone location in an on-site, full-time role. The HSE Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation and promoting a safe and healthy workplace. Key responsibilities include implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, delivering training programs, monitoring occupational health initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulations, and investigating incidents or hazards. Collaboration with teams across the organization and maintaining excellent customer service standards are integral to the role.
Qualifications
* Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate effectively with various teams, external agencies, and stakeholders.
* In-depth knowledge of Occupational Health practices, including risk assessments, compliance, and workplace safety protocols.
* Ability to analyze health and safety data and generate detailed reports for continuous improvement.
* Relevant certifications in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management or a related field.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations in industrial manufacturing environments.
* Proficient problem-solving and decision-making skills, with strong attention to detail.
* NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent Level 6 qualification in a related discipline is preferred.
