We are looking to recruit a Technical Demonstrator for Art and Design courses. The successful candidate will join a team of enthusiastic and committed staff within the Institute of Arts & Humanities.
Based primarily at Art House, City Campus, where many of the Art facilities are housed, you will support staff and students on the practical Art and Design courses, with duties including technical demonstrations, inductions and workshops. Providing the currency of practice that is key to preparing students for work in a fast-paced and technology-dependent industry.
You will also support the Institutes work with the wider community and industry and will need the flexibility to work in the evenings and, occasionally, at weekends when required.
