My client in the Leyland area require x 2 Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiners.
This hands-on role requires a strong background in furniture and cabinet making, with an emphasis on quality, precision, and craftsmanship.
Candidates should be confident working with both traditional joinery techniques and modern methods.
Key Responsibilities
 * Interpreting and working from technical drawings and design specifications.
 * Constructing high-quality bespoke furniture using solid timber, veneers, and sheet materials.
 * Surface preparation and finishing to the highest standards.
 * Taking off materials based on design references.
 * Collaborating with workshop staff and operational management to resolve technical challenges.
 * Maintaining clean, safe, and organized work areas.
 * Supporting innovation through new manufacturing techniques and technology integration.
 * Participating in quality control and internal audit processes.
Requirements
 * Proven experience in high-end furniture or cabinet making.
 * Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings.
 * Solid understanding of traditional joinery and modern fabrication techniques, including solid surface experience.
 * Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
 * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
 * Good communication and problem-solving skills.
 * Willingness to learn and adapt.
 * Ability to perform under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Daily overtime premiums (when agreed in advance).
Two paid 15-minute tea breaks per day.
Company-supplied workwear and PPE.
Free on-site parking.
Working Days (7am - 5pm).
