Role Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as an Aftersales Administrator in our Aftersales team. The role is responsible for supporting our customers with an efficient and comprehensive aftersales service in following up on customer requirements for spare parts sold by Western Global. The individual will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience from quotation toicing, supporting with the order and account management process such as setting up new accounts for billing, helping coordinate shipments and post shipment support. The role will also require you to support our warranty team and ensure cases are closed off in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
* Be the secondary contact with customers and prospects related to parts sales enquiries.
* Follow up on quotes sent through to customers in line with reporting data.
* Accurately enter sales activity onto the CRM system (NetSuite).
* Develop long-term customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer service.
* Providing day‑to‑day contact to ensure orders are managed, products and services are delivered, and quality is ensured.
* Work closely with the Product Development Coordinator to ensure that customer cases are actioned in a swift and timely manner, supporting with reporting and resolutions.
* Maintain constant communication with all parties involved in the warranty claims to ensure clear communication and update status of cases.
* Represent Western Global in all forms of contact with customers.
* Travel within the UK may be required on an ad hoc basis.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing industry or technical environment.
* Previous customer support role experience.
* Good standard of IT capability e.g. Microsoft Outlook & Word.
* Previous use of a CRM tool (ideally NetSuite).
* Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Confident communicator both verbal and written communication.
* Enjoys working as part of a team.
* Ability to effectively organise and prioritise.
* Multi‑task to meet deliverables with the ability to work independently.
* Technical experience in the manufacturing industry desirable.
