Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for sales of all Masimo products in assigned territory
2. Plan and execute strategies to convert accounts (single departments and/or the whole hospital from ED, general floor, critical care and theatres) to the use of Masimo products in a highly competitive market
3. Responsible for account sales, including qualification, demonstration and closure for competitive and exclusive products, positioning Masimo’s technology as the new standard of care in pulse-oximetry, other non-invasive parameters and our automation platform (Medical Device Integration, In-hospital remote monitoring)
4. Ability to conduct product demonstrations and negotiations both with clinical, operational and financial teams (bio-medical engineers, divisional managers, purchasing managers, etc.)
5. Partner with appropriate distributors and OEM sales personnel in planning and executing sales strategies to convert accounts
6. Ability to work effectively with various members of the UK team to support sales efforts and drive opportunities across multiple hospital departments
7. Provide information to upper management including market trends, competitive activity, product design needs, regulatory, and production requirements
8. Participate in hospital bid tenders
9. Maintain thorough product knowledge including the ability to demonstrate products and position products vs. competitive products
10. Provide upper management with regular, accurate sales forecasts through effective use of Salesforce to support opportunity and pipeline management
11. Manage expense budget for all required activities
Requirements:
12. Bachelor’s degree or similar level of education
13. Proven track record of selling both disposable products and capital equipment to hospitals and the ability to communicate value-based solutions
14. Three or more years of Medical Device Sales experience. Knowledge of patient monitoring and hospital digital systems is highly advantageous
15. Direct selling experience in high-competitive markets
16. Experience calling on clinicians and non-clinical departments (bio-medical engineers, purchasing managers)
17. Experience working with Distributors and OEM sales personnel
18. Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
19. Results-oriented with a positive "can do" attitude and a sense of urgency to deliver outcomes efficiently and effectively
20. Demonstrates strong self-confidence and performs effectively in high-visibility situations
21. Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to lead group presentations
22. Demonstrated self-starter with a "hands-on" approach who enjoys challenge and is dedicated to delivering results with minimal support and direction.
23. Must be accustomed to a heavy travel schedule
24. Fluent in English.
25. Must be PC literate (with a focus on Excel and BI tools), have excellent organisational, communication, writing, and project management skills.
