HR Sales Intern

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven HR Sales Intern to support our business development efforts within the UK market.
This role is ideal for someone interested in B2B sales within HR services, recruitment, payroll, staffing, or HR technology. You will gain hands-on experience in client acquisition, lead generation, proposal preparation, and sales strategy execution.
This is a performance-oriented internship designed for individuals who want real exposure to UK B2B sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
Research and identify potential SME and enterprise clients across the UK
Build targeted prospect lists across industries
Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and cold calling
Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for senior sales team
2. Sales Support
Assist in preparing proposals, capability decks, and pricing documents
Support RFP/RFI responses
Maintain CRM system and track sales funnel metrics
Follow up with prospects and nurture warm leads
3. Market Research
Analyse competitors in recruitment, staffing, and HR outsourcing space
Identify high-growth sectors and hiring trends
Assist in developing go-to-market strategies
4. Client Relationship Support
Assist in managing client accounts
Support upselling and cross-selling initiatives

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, HR, Marketing, or related field
Strong interest in B2B sales and HR services
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
Organised and target-driven
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM tools is an advantage
