RAC is looking for a passionate commercially minded SEO Executive with at least two years’ hands on experience to join our Performance Marketing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who already understands the fundamentals of organic search and is ready to build on that foundation within a well established, brand. You’ll bring practical experience and fresh thinking, and in return we’ll provide the support and exposure to help you progress your career.
Working across RAC’s core products and services, you’ll drive measurable growth in visibility, traffic and performance. You’ll need to be confident working autonomously, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
The role follows a flexible hybrid model: three days from home and two days at our Bradley Stoke office in Bristol.

What you’ll do
7. Supporting the delivery of RAC’s SEO strategy across key products and services, ensuring activity aligns with wider commercial objectives.
8. Support to management and execute a SEO roadmap, covering on-page, off-page and technical initiatives, working closely with internal teams and agency partners.
9. Monitoring and reporting on SEO performance across a defined product set, tracking KPIs and clearly communicating progress and impact.
10. Identifying growth opportunities through data led insights, providing actionable recommendations to increase organic visibility and traffic.
11. Using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush and Ahrefs to analyse performance trends, competitor activity and search opportunities.
12. Supporting the monitoring of the technical health of the RAC domain, working with internal teams to improve crawlability, indexation and overall site performance.
13. Managing relevant budgetary and compliance processes, ensuring stakeholders are engaged and approvals secured in a timely manner.
14. Building strong working relationships across the wider Performance Marketing team, ensuring SEO activity is aligned with paid media, content and brand initiatives.
15. Keeping up to date with industry developments, algorithm updates and best practice, proactively identifying areas of potential impact or opportunity.
What you’ll need
16. A minimum 2years’ experience in SEO or digital marketing (agency or in-house).
17. A keen interest in organic search and digital performance.
18. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
19. A proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
20. Familiarity with SEO tools is a bonus, but not essential – we’ll train you!
