Job Description: Technical Surveyor / Sales advisor

Life Quality Bathing LTD specialise in providing bathing solutions nationwide for those with reduced mobility. We are committed to delivering professional, timely, and efficient services that ensures customer satisfaction at every stage of the process.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Surveyor/Sales advisor to carry out accurate site surveys for our customers who are looking for a safe and practical bathing solution.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our right-first-time approach, reducing remedial works, and supporting smooth project delivery from point of sale through to installation. You will liaise closely with customers, installers, and operations to ensure clear communication and precise project handovers.
Duties
Conduct detailed on-site surveys of residential properties to measure and assess window and door openings.
Advise the end user correctly on what can be installed in the space available.
Accurately record dimensions, structural details, and any potential installation challenges.
Identify and report any structural or site-specific issues that may affect installation.
Complete and submit clear, comprehensive survey reports within required timeframes.
Liaise with the sales team to clarify technical queries and ensure contract accuracy.
Provide technical advice to customers regarding product suitability and installation requirements.
Ensure all survey information is compliant with current building regulations and industry standards.
Confirm access requirements, health and safety considerations, and any specialist equipment needs.
Work closely with installation teams to ensure seamless handover and accurate job preparation.
Minimise errors, remakes, and post-installation remedial works through precise surveying.
Maintain professional communication with customers, ensuring a positive company representation at all times. Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring survey or installation issues.
Experience
Proven experience as a Surveyor within the bathroom and plumbing industry.
Strong understanding of hot water systems, heating systems and drainage.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Excellent numerical skills with high attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple surveys per day.
Confident communication skills when dealing with customers and internal teams.
This role would suit an ex bathroom installer.
Please be aware that this is a fully field based role, and the occasional overnight stay may be required.
Full UK driving licence required.
Relevant industry qualifications are advantageous but not essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, technically competent, and committed to delivering accuracy and quality at every stage of the customer journey.
