Canteen Asistant Job Description
* Prepare meals in line with the weekly lunch menu which includes chopping, slicing, cutting, peeling, and seasoning ingredients.
* Assist in the serving of food to employees.
* Work under the guidance of the Catering Manager to ensure the correct stock and inventory is maintained.
* Assist with ordering supplies as and when required.
* Wash and clean up before and after service in the kitchen.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are used following regulations of hygiene and safety.
* Maintain cleanliness by disposing of rubbish following appropriate procedures
Idean candidate must have:
* Experience as a Kitchen or Canteen Assistant or working in a similar environment.
* A qualification in catering would be desirable.
* Good food hygiene.
* Dedicated and reliable to complete essential duties promptly.
* Exceptional time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
* The ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment.
