Overview

Heath Farm School is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team. You will support teachers to take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, maximise pupils' achievement, and help pupils develop.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and the positive, supportive learning environment we provide. You will work with individual pupils and small groups, preparing classrooms and materials, and building positive relationships to promote interaction and learning. You may assist in the planning and delivery of lessons in a creative and positive setting.


Responsibilities

* Support teachers by working with individuals and small groups of pupils.
* Prepare classrooms and materials for lessons.
* Build positive relationships with pupils to promote interaction and learning.
* Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons in a creative and positive setting.


Qualifications and Skills

* Educated to GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English.
* Calm, engaging, and resilient; able to work well as part of a team.
* Motivated by helping every pupil reach their potential.
* Previous experience in an SEN/ASC environment is desirable but not required; excellent support skills and the right motivation and resilience are important.


Desirable Background

* Experience in customer-facing industries (e.g., retail, hospitality, leisure) seeking a role that makes a difference.
