Position
Join us as a Facade Estimator – Shape Safer, Smarter Buildings with Acorn. As the construction landscape evolves under the Building Safety Act, the need for absolute accuracy, robust compliance, and meticulous technical assurance has never been greater. At Acorn, we are growing fast—and we’re looking for an experienced Facade Estimator who shares our commitment to quality, adaptability and integrity.

Responsibilities
* Managing and organising incoming client enquiries
* Preparing detailed estimates, including take‑offs from architects’ drawings
* Assessing specifications with a strong focus on compliance, regulatory alignment, and Building Safety Act requirements
* Using estimating software to input scope of works with accurate, up-to-date labour times and cost data
* Obtaining supporting prices, technical data sheets, and performance calculations for tender submissions
* Producing clear, compliant written estimates demonstrating full understanding of project requirements
* Leading handover meetings with design, production, and contracts teams once projects are secured
Requirements
* 2+ years experience in an estimating role—ideally within facades or glazing
* Ability to work on contracts in the £1M+ value range
* A proactive mindset, strong diligence, and exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced team environment
* Willingness to share knowledge, collaborate openly, and support a high‑performing team culture

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Salary, up to: £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
