We're looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team based in Hatton.
Location: Hatton – remote working available, with occasional travel to the office and project sites required.
Hours: 45 hours per week – flexible working options available; some flexibility on hours can be discussed during the recruitment process.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
What will you be responsible for?
* Driving and managing commercial delivery across multiple projects or workstreams
* Supporting and developing quantity surveyors through cost forecasting, valuations, reporting and commercial administration
* Managing subcontractor procurement, tendering, contract negotiations and payments to ensure value for money
* Overseeing interim applications, variations, final accounts and claims with both clients and the supply chain
* Monitoring project budgets and commercial risk, implementing mitigation strategies where required
What are we looking for?
This role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
* You have significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a relevant utilities or infrastructure environment
* You hold a professional qualification (e.g. RICS, or a degree/HND in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management)
* You have a strong working knowledge of NEC, JCT or similar standard forms of contract
* You have experience managing project finances across the full project lifecycle
* You are able to lead, mentor and support commercial teams while managing multiple priorities effectively
