Salary: £14.30 per hour (night rate until 1st February), increasing to £15.30 per hour from Monday 2nd February
Hours:
* Monday to Wednesday: 21:30 - 07:30
* Thursday: 21:30 - 06:30
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our fast-paced engineering/manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment, operating machinery safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up, operate, and monitor machines according to production specifications
* Ensure consistent product quality and adherence to safety standards
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues
* Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies
* Work efficiently during night shifts, maintaining focus and precision
Required Experience:
* Proven experience operating machinery within an engineering or manufacturing company
* Understanding of production processes and safety protocols
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience with quality control and machine troubleshooting is highly desirable
