Director of Quality & Governance - Must be Nurse Qualified

Hybrid working, South London
Compass Associates are partnering with a leading neurological care provider in the UK to appoint a Director of Quality, a senior leadership role within the business. This position is suitable for current Quality Leads or Heads of Quality seeking a director level appointment.
Responsibilities
* Report to the CEO, independent of Operations, and lead all quality initiatives.
* Implement and embed new quality systems and processes, with emphasis on supporting the organisation’s nurses to deliver the best quality of care.
* Manage one direct report (clinical auditor) and conduct a complete review of auditing processes.
* Implement new governance processes where required; drive continuous improvement.
* Oversee quality assurance and safeguarding, manage investigations, and assist the groups operations director.
* Operate in a hybrid capacity: 1 day per week from the group’s London HQ (reporting to the board), 3 days on site, and 1 day from home.
Qualifications
* Hold a valid NMC registration as an RGN / RMN / RNLD.
* Extensive experience in a quality-focused role.
* Experience within a complex care setting is advantageous but not essential.
* Experience in a similar level role is desirable.
