Technical Sales isthe essential link between Customer Sales R&D Factoryexternal partners and other related departments in the wholeproject phase from order to delivery. Technical Sales managesmultiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously collaboratingwith intercontinental crossfunctional teams and B2B customers. AtBYD Technical Sales consists of a team in Shenzhen and in Europeand UK.
The Technical SalesManageris responsible for UK customer requirementsclarification and delivery of electric bus projects ensuringadherence to predefined timelines budgets and qualitystandards.
The Technical SalesManager is part of the Technical Sales Departmentand reports to the Director of the Technical Sales department atBYD HQ and with a dotted line to the Managing Director of BYDUK.
AsTechnical Sales Manageryour key responsibilities will be:
Communicationandcoordination
* Responsiblefor UK customer requirements clarification and delivery of electricbus projects ensure adherence to predefined timelines budgets andquality standards of all UK projects;
* Managemultiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously collaboratingwith intercontinental crossfunctional teams and B2Bcustomers;
* Establish strong relationships withexternal partners consultants vendors and regulatoryauthorities;
* Customer satisfaction surveys andfollowup;
* Follow up customer major complaintissues and coordinate the resolutions and track customersatisfaction;
* Support Sales team in acquiringprospective customers and securing orders;
* Workclosely together with the Director of Technical Sales Team in Chinato ensure optimal collaboration between the Chinese and UKTechnical SalesTeams.
Qualityand improvement of workprocesses
* Fullyunderstand BYDs EV products and product developmentpipelines;
* Work closely with team members inorder to understand the challenges being faced with existingprocesses grab feedback and optimize theseprocesses;
* Work closely with other departmentsto optimize the work processes in aproject;
* Organize platform for informationexchange between the team members and facilitate implementation oftechnical / organizational lessons learned betweenmarkets;
* Keep departmental processes up to dateinform HSEQ manager in case changes are needed. Report improvementopportunities in the organization processes and incidents via animprovementnote.
Requiredskills qualifications andexperience
* 5years of experience in a Project Management or similar role withproven successful records of managing multiple projects/customersof varying sizes in parallel;
* Bachelors degreein electrical mechanical or automotiveengineering.
* Solid knowledge of the automotivepreferably the eBus market;
* Experience incrosscultural management client management and conflict managementstrong sense of responsibility andownership;
* Proactive and collaborative approachto problem solving;
* Strong leadership skillsand creative thinking;
* Strong and effectivewritten verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English;
* Has righttowork in theUK.
