Senior Electrical Estimator
Location: London
Salary: £100K per annum + bonus
The Role
* Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical installation projects, with a strong focus on CAT A & CAT B office fit‑outs
* Review and analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
* Carry out detailed electrical take‑offs (lighting, small power, containment, distribution, and associated systems)
* Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations
* Identify value engineering opportunities to improve cost efficiency without compromising quality
* Prepare detailed tender submissions including pricing breakdowns, assumptions, exclusions, and technical clarifications
* Attend pre‑ and post‑tender meetings as required
* Work closely with pre‑construction, design, and operational teams to support tender and delivery handover
* Manage multiple live tenders within tight deadlines
* Maintain accurate tender and cost data for future reference and benchmarking

The Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrical Estimator within the Building Services / M&E sector
* Strong background in commercial office fit‑out projects (CAT A & CAT B)
* Excellent understanding of electrical systems and installation methods
* Strong numerical and analytical ability
* Confident working under pressure and managing multiple tenders simultaneously
* Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
