Overview
This is a term time post, based in our nurturing school. We are seeking individuals who can provide support to our young people, the teachers, the curriculum and the school during the education day. You will be creating a happy, safe and caring environment, which enables our students to learn and communicate with confidence.
Responsibilities
* Support young people, teachers, the curriculum and the school during the education day.
* Help create a happy, safe and caring environment to enable students to learn and communicate with confidence.
* Be highly motivated, hardworking and flexible.
* Be resilient and able to adapt to different situations in a school setting.
Qualifications and desirable experience
* Basic understanding of SEND children and their needs.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Desirable: Previous classroom / support experience.
* GCSE English & Maths at C or above.
* NVQ Level III (Teaching Assistant).
* SEND Understanding and Knowledge.
