A long term contract opportunity for an experienced SC cleared Service Owner to led the overall development of a portfolio of digital services in the Defence Sector. The successful candidate will have a depth of public sector experience working to Government Digital Service standards. Responsibilities: Use experience in digital thinking, cultural awareness, service design and delivery practices to further develop the service and realise the end clients vision. Provide a user centred survey collection service for the client, which is simple, responsive and flexible, supporting the production of quality statistical outputs and improving government decision making for the public good. Adopt a portfolio view, managing end-to-end services that include multiple products and channels, and influence policy and delivery teams to ensure they're considering the needs of users in all aspects of their work. Required Experience: Leading the successful design, delivery, continuous improvement, and operation of a digital service Building and delivering against strategies to transform and join-up digital or non-digital services Motivating and empowering teams and individuals & delivering using Agile and Lean practices Working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels, influencing outcomes, managing expectations, and facilitating discussions about risk and complexity successfully Gathering, analysing, and using user insight and performance data to design and continually improve digital services to ensure responsiveness to changing needs and technical developments. Additional Information Day Rate: Up to £500 IR35: Outside Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days a week onsite in Portsmouth Duration: 12 months (significant opportunity for extension) Required: ACTIVE SC clearance
