Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
2. Promote physical health, wellbeing, and active participation in all sessions.
3. Encourage teamwork, resilience, and personal achievement through sport.
4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development.
5. Work collaboratively with staff to integrate physical education into broader learning pathways and alternative provision strategies.
Essential Skills and Experience
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/PE qualification. Unqualified Teachers with experienced are encouraged to apply.
7. Experience teaching PE to secondary-aged students, ideally in alternative or non-traditional settings.
8. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Passionate about physical education and inspiring students to achieve their potential.
