AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) are inviting applications for a Safety & Compliance Officer to be based at Stansted Airport, working in cooperation with our client airline Ryanair, Europe's largest airline. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with existing line maintenance experience, who can work without direct supervision and able to demonstrate a flexible working attitude in a fast-changing environment. With 600 aircraft for Summer 2024, including the introduction of the Boeing 737-8200 “Gamechanger” and a growing Ryanair UK Fleet of 737-800, Ryanair offer exceptional career opportunities and progression within the industry. Duties Include: To ensure the timely review of Engineering safety reports. Investigate Engineering safety reports and Quality audit findings to establish root cause. Put in place corrective and preventative actions to prevent reoccurrence of Audit findings and maintenance errors. Liaise with Quality engineers during audits to provide assistance and information as required. Review and establish Safety Performance Indicators. Ensure implementation of corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement across the region Requirements Must have a degree (or similar) in aviation or a minimum of 2 years’ working experience in the aviation industry. Previous experience working in a Safety or Quality department is essential. Good English (written and spoken) and computer skills (MS Office – Excel essential). AMOS knowledge an advantage. Good communication and organisation skills, with a high focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Must be able to use initiative and work independently.
