Our client, a regional contractor, is currently looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
You should have at least two years of experience working with a main contractor or PQS Consultancy and have already completed your studies.
The main duties will be:
1. Evaluating works done to process payments to subcontractors and negotiating with subcontractors regarding their payment applications.
2. Assisting in the procurement of subcontractors.
3. Assisting in preparing cashflow analysis reports on spreadsheets to correspond with the programme of works.
4. Assisting in preparing interim valuations for submission to clients.
5. Assisting in producing monthly CVRs.
Full development will be given to the candidate with the objective of running their own jobs.
