Stoke by Nayland Resort is looking for a Lodge Caretaker to join the team on a full time or part time basis.
Working as part of the Housekeeping Team, and reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the successful candidate will ensure that all lodge guests are looked after and given excellent customer service throughout their stay.
The successful candidate will be responsible for,
* Checking guests into the lodges and ensuring they are shown how to use all equipment and facilities.
* Check lodges when guests depart for any missing items or damages.
* Re-stock lodges with consumables and supplies.
* Assist guests with any requests they have during their stay.
* Assist the housekeeping staff.
* Ensure the lodge vehicle is kept clean, tidy and with sufficient fuel at all times.
* Maintain the lodges and Honey Tye to ensure they are in full working order and nicely presented.
* Clean windows and balconies before each guest arrives.
* Keep grounds around lodges clean and tidy, including the BBQ area.
* Fill water softeners with salt tablets as required.
* Check lodges before guests arrive to ensure housekeeping and presentation levels are up to our 5* standard.
* Carry out general maintenance jobs.
* Carry out any other tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following,
* A professional attitude and approach to work.
* Experience of working in a customer service environment.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* The ability to work alone and in a team.
* Be able to work under pressure.
* Full Driving Licence.
* Minor maintenance knowledge.
* Cleaning experience.

Additional Information – As part of the Housekeeping Team you will be expected to work varying shifts. These shifts will include weekends and Bank Holidays. This role offers an excellent employee benefits package, as well as 28 days holiday on a pro-rata basis. Due to our location, having your own transport is essential.
